OCAAT is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in North New Jersey. We mobilize resources for emergency relief and sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development to support underprivileged women and children in need. No matter where they come from, OCAAT welcomes immigrants and refugees.
Our mission is to put God’s love in action by helping in pragmatic ways to provide support where it is needed most. We provide social support and humanitarian relief to children and women regardless of their nationality, politics or religion. OCAAT is committed to support children through educational, health, and social services programs and activities conducted both nationally and internationally.
We envision a world where children and women succeed and they not only rebuild their lives but thrive.
We foster independence and self-sufficiency by offering our clients the information and tools they need to achieve their personal goals, access opportunity, and thrive in their new community. Our commitment to our clients requires cooperation, collaboration, and community involvement, this is why we offer supporters and staff the information and resources they need to be effective advocates to support effectively and to reach our common goals.
OCAAT team works hard to provide relief to children suffering the effects of natural disasters, or war times. We raise funds for emergency aid to support children suffering shortages of medical aid as well as wartime shortages of medication, food, and supplies.
We treat others with respect and dignity by recognizing, appreciating, and valuing diversity and inclusion. At OCAAT we foster secure, respectful, and reciprocal partnerships with high expectations for equity and respect for diversity. To the extent possible, we work to tailor/design our services, communications, and actions to and for the unique populations we serve.
We mobilize resources for emergency relief and sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development to support women and children in need. We operate both domestically and internationally.
In addition, OCAAT provides volunteers and participants a meaningful, valuable experience helping and working with others.
OCATT works to give children a healthy start in life, and the opportunity to learn and protect them from harm. We do whatever it takes for children, every day and in times of crisis, transforming their lives and the future we share.
OCAAT believes that all children deserve to grow up safe, educated, healthy, and happy. We believe that children deserve a life free from violence and the stress caused by traumatic events such as war, natural disaster, mistreatment, and malnutrition amongst other. We’ve made a commitment to deepen our work in supporting underprivileged children, including immigrants and refugees.
Our programs focus on humanitarian work, and in preventing children’s trauma by creating programs that will prepare them to respond with zero violence. Our goal is to help children overcome the need of food, clothing, and to help them to release their minds from these stressful circumstances, by introducing programs created by our Professionals in Social Work, as well as professionals in Children and Youth Psychology.
OCAAT helps women and children whose lives have been shattered by conflict and disaster. Our team works around the clock to ensure families can survive, recover and regain control of their futures. Our work and methods vary depending on context and the needs of each community.
Children face unprecedented challenges at home and abroad. Millions of children suffer hunger, homelessness and mental trauma due to natural disasters, war, and poverty. Our strategy is focused on providing support to help children grow up happy and healthy, healthy minds for a happier and brighter future.
